We partnered with a US trading company experienced in supermarket cosmetics to develop a customized series of face sheet masks. From formula creation and sample testing to packaging design and bulk production, we worked closely with the client to meet every detail. The final products, packed in supermarket-ready combos, were delivered smoothly within 35 days and successfully launched in the US market. This project highlights our capability in product development, packaging innovation, and strict quality control.

1. First Approach, Communication, and Project Proposal

A customer from a trading company located in the US, whom we initially met at the beauty trade show. He has a strong background in the cosmetics business and particularly in dealing with supermarkets & grocery stores for many years. With his rich experiences, he knows exactly the product requirements that fit the supermarket & grocery store and has some ideas about what the local people will love.

After some conversations, we decided to develop a series of face sheet masks based on his rough product requirements overview.

2. Formulas, Sample Preparation, and Customer Testing

As we already know the direction of what the face sheet masks are, we develop all the formulas very fast. The amazing thing is that customers love the formulas a lot; we barely adjusted the formulas after his first product testing and got his final confirmation for them.

3. Product Design

The mask design stage doesn't take a long time; they are all characteristic packaging, able to pass on their features to the end users and catch people's eyes. Here are some product designs.

4. A Tough Point On This Project

The most difficult stage of this project must be the Aluminum foil bag/mask sheet bag bulk production, as you see from the design; there are various types customers want to launch. It needs a lot of effort and communication for us.

We went to the mask sheet bag workshop, waiting and checking for the pre-production samples of every design for several days to inspect the colors and wording to ensure that the bulk production of the bags is the same as what he wants.

5. Product Production, Details Of Packaging Requirements.

As all the masks are sold in the supermarkets & grocery stores, customers want the masks presented as a 5- or 7-sheet combo in a plastic bag that can be hung on the display rack. We use double-sided tape to stick each combo inside the plastic bag to let it have a good look and not be moved during sea transportation.

6. Delivery

Finally, after 35 days, all products are finished and start to be handed over to the customer. When he got the products on the US side, they were all in good condition as he expected. Now we are still cooperating on this project with him.
