A customer who collaborated with our boss’s friend was introduced to me. He is a Saudi Arabians who owns a trading company dealing in business for several sales channels. This face sheet mask project is based on the supermarket.

After some conversations, he didn't give us much idea of this project, just letting us introduce some popular sheet mask items. Based on our research in the local market, we suggested to him a series that is a very hot sale at SEPHORA, and he agreed.

Regulation Compliance, Scent Searching And Sample Testing

Before sampling, the customer told us he wanted the masks in a strong scent, people like this type of product a lot in the local market, but he gave a limited budget on the unit price, which makes it very hard for us to manage the cost. In this case, we take a lot of effort in finding good scents that are suitable for their market but at a competitive price.

At the same time, we understand that the masks are sold in the supermarket, we know that all of them need to comply with the regulations of Saudi Arabia and meet the GSO standard. We start to research the details, talking to our engineer to develop new formulas, comparing each substance to the regulations to make sure all of them are under the standard and able to be approved by the administration.

Finally, we did it; we successfully developed unit formulas for this customer and sent samples in different scents for his testing. He likes it a lot and approves of the bulk production.

The design process is smooth; the customer provides Arabic wording for us, and we complete the design very soon. But the main issue is that the sheet mask bag he wants is not a regular one; it is a semi-elliptical shape.

We need to adjust our machine to fit the shape and size, and for some procedures, we have to make it by hand, but we still finish the whole production in time.

The first batch of sheet masks is popular in the market and gets good reviews, the customer places another order very soon, together with face mask and hand mask additions.
